Its been a hell of a week. 32km route march. I finally got my CSB Badge. Yeay. There is aof course a price to pay...

Mother of Blisters!!!

Had to go to the doctor to get the pus and blood out. Its crazy. 32km. I had the blister at the 16km mark. And i have another 16km more to go before everything ends. Maintain bro, maintain.

I already apply for NTU and SIT. I hope everything moves along just fine cause I don't want my dad to send me to China to study.

I am going to Taiwan say. In 3 weeks time. Not that I can't wait. Its just another shit ass training for 3 weeks there. But at least I don't have to train in this god-damn hot ass country with its mosquitoes and shit.

21 years in my life I never went to someone grab them by the throat and literally fuck them in their face. Everything changes in the army. 2 occasion I went to 2 different people in the face and literally fuck them up.

1st occasion : This dude was just being annoying, I was the platoon I/C and he kept bugging me to wake up my idea. Wtf? How many times must I repeat myself. If you think you're better than me. By all means take over. Don't annoy me by asking me to hurry up or run along like a dog to the Encik's and ask for the next instructions. I went to his face, grab him by the throat and told him to go fuck himself. Staring him in the eyes and say if you think you can do better than me. By all fucking means. Take over.

2nd occasion : My bunk has this thrash bag which nobody has the fucking initiative to threw it away. So I took the damn bloody thing and went down. At that time, I was the sec comd for the junior cadets. So, I told one of my bunk mates who is fat and love to eat to help me throw the rubbish. He just stood there give that fuck face look and shake his head saying NO. I asked him again like 3x nicely. Got mad. Pushed him and say. You fucking fat bastard you know how to eat and sleep inside bunk. But you don't want to clean the shit that you eat. You fucking chibai.

Woah. Thanks to NS I have seen all kinds of scumbag.

2) A Nato soldier, standing guard in the rain with a 20-kilo pack on his back, says: "Life is hard." A People's Liberation Army soldier, standing in the snow in an ill-fitting uniform with a long march ahead, says: "Life is hard." I quote my friend who dad just passed away he said. He miss having his dad sending him to camp and shaking his hand.

Me and my dad has this going on. Where he send to camp every time I had to book in. Why? Life's too short. Gotta treasure every second.

I saw 3 cases where in 3 different occasion my section or platoon mates collapse or hospitalised.

Just recently, 1 of my section mates was hospitalised suffering a muscle tear.

Kinda make me thing I did not treasure the people around me enough. Gonna be a better son in the future. =)

ALSC Sucks. What's worst my Instructor is 2x5 dol. Kanina that guy is so siow on. Asking us to run here and there like a freaking dog. Climbing up the peng-kang hill just to execute a section ambush. WTF!

Things ain't getting better it just went downhill since 2012. Beginning to hate what I do here. Has no purpose or meaning or what so ever.

I did crowd control for the 09/11 batch of Specialists. Worst job deployment ever.

Singaporeans don't respect soldiers. I was attached at the back of the VIP seats my job is to clear human traffic that is blocking the way. So when the VIP come he will move to a smooth traffic. So there's is this Ah-Pek whom I asked nicely to move into the grand seats.

He rudely told me that the place is packed (it was raining) besides that all the cadets graduating brought the entire family to see them. The place cant accommodate the number of people that come. Thankfully, there's this Master Warrant next to me who kindly asked him to move the seats for the moment until the VIP is seated in the seats. He just scream "You fucking army has no fucking common sense, is fucking packed"

Fucking chibai bastard civilian. I am just doing my job fuck. Just be patience. The VIP is a 1 star General accompanying a Minister. He will be there in 5 mins. After he is seated you can do what fuck you wanna do. Even if you want to masturbate in public. I don't give a fuck.

While doing crowd control, there is this shallow aunty who asked me which unit is crowd control. I look at her. And I look down at my cadet rank.

I told the aunty. "Aunty, your son used to be same rank as me. I am a cadet here" .. I regretted saying that. I should have answer her sarcastically. Should have told her I am from the Commandos, Special Operations Forces under the Crowd Control Division. We heliborne to parades and proceed to execute our mission which is Crowd Control.

Damn

The only thing that is memorable from the parade is the free food that I had. And, the next day we had to run 5km in less than 29min 59sec. I ran like a dog and complete it in 27min 43sec. My right leg is still aching.

2 Months foundation term was the best time so far in my NS life. Doing shit with cool people, funny people. Life was never a dull moment back then. But, things change. Most of them has been transferred to another unit. Engineers, Amour etc etc. While the rest of us. Not even 1 Platoon size is still here. Still doing the same crap for the next 12 Weeks. Endure. Get this crap done and over with.

I kinda get what's wrong with SAF management and why NS-Men complained alot.

This is how they work

There's A, B and C

One rank higher than the other.

We follow instructions from A and execute it. When, B inspects B is displeased and change the whole thing. But, when C heard about it C changes the whole entire game. Due to this miscommunication and whatever word that is best describe this whole fucked up time is often delayed. When time is being snow-balled. Guess who is being blame? Us.

Like last Thurs. My OC is nice enough to allow us for a Night's Out if we settle everything by 1800hrs. And we did. Full Golf co-operation. Out of sudden our CSM being an anal told us to clean our rifle. Level 1 standard. Means exterior must be clean. When he said that. We all knew that there won't be any night's out. Fucker right.

There's more.

The instructions was clearly given. "LEVEL 1 CLEAN" he even wrote that on the whiteboard. Along came my PWO (2nd guy below PC) he told us to clean the exterior and the interior. Fucker ass-hole chibai. For the other Platoon 1 and 2 they only clean the exterior. For my my Platoon 3 we clean the interior. After both Platoon has clean the exterior they went for their night's out at 1945. We stayed there till 2015hrs. Fucking army and their change of instructions at the last minute.

I had this conversation with my dad about his childhood friends and where and what they are doing there. Honestly, its not something optimistic.

Initially, I asked my mum where and what her childhood friend are doing now. She replied, 1 of them became a hotshot lawyer, another is a General in the Army, most became businessman or women who excel in their particular field. Positive answer right?

But, when I asked my dad. This is what he replied.

"Ada dah mati, ada satu dia tinggal satu mata, ada kaki mabuk" (translation) "some are dead, 1 of them left with 1 eye and most are drunkards"

I continued.. How about your bunkmates from Army.

"ada masuk jail, ada jadi security guard" (translation) "some went to jail, most became security guard"

Then I asked him again. How about your Section Commanders last time in Bedok Camp. Same answer..

"Corporal Wahid mati kena langgar, Corporal Goh mati chopper jatuh" (translate) "1 of them died in an accident while the other died in a helicopter crash"

One of the example is. Walking around the house with my underwear. Saying the work "suck" in every few words to my parents. Spurting vulgarities here and there.

Getting impatient easily when people moves so slowly.

Whenever I step into JP. I just realised that place has no spirit or life in it. Its just a dead town seen as a prominent lepak place for foreigners.

The other day, I went to JP to have dinner with Erfi. We paid $4 for the claypot chicken rice. Which taste so foul that Erfi did not finish up his food knowing him to be a cheap and he usually finishes up his food regardless of what. So that is really a bad sign that Banquet is falling down. The food there sucks, the tables are often sticky and dirty and lastly, the food items just gets more and more expensive.

Its been my 2nd week in SCS. Things are going smooth. Next week, I'll be having my field camp. I hate field camps. Everything about the Army sucks. But somebody has to defend this land right?

I have been reading other people blogs for ermm inspiration and things to blog about since I usually blog about stuffs that did not matter to anyone.

I found one who blog about love relationship advice. Blah Blah Blah about when you break up you will feel like dying and what fuck shit for fuck cause I don't give a fuck. And, about the weirdness of "break in routine" cause every morning you'll wake up to sweet smses and stuffs like that then out of sudden. ALAMAK!! In the name of the lord. NO SMSES!!!!.. Stuffs like that or or you often go out with this guy or girl who happens to be your partner. Then one fine day you pass-by a shop which you often visit as a couple or you heard a song which happens to be your "couple song" you will feel sad and lonely.

My advice whenever you feel sad or lonely, turn around and smile. And say. Thank God! And re-call all the bad situations that ever happen to you when you're with your partner or better. Commit Suicide

My last advice... If you're a boyfriend or a husband. You open your mouth for 2 reasons and 2 reasons only. To yawn or to eat. Most of the time, smile and make sure your penis erects when the time is needed for it

The good part is the place is being run by warrant officers. And, I have huge respect for this people. Airborne Badges, all those funny funny badges that you never get to see. Except for the special few who has it..

Some of them obtained those badges above. Cool or what.

Back in BMT, I expressed interests to go to OCS. But, when I find out that the people who got short-listed for OCS are the cocksuckers, wayang warrior and ball-carrier from my platoon except, for the good 1 or 2 people who isn't.

The best people from my platoon and the gerek-gerek people from other platoon are put together into 1 company in SCS. And they are the same platoon as me. Therefore, I am thankful to be in SCS.

Nothing much to blog except that I have to survive for the next 6 months.

I ended my 24hr guard duty

I am so tired.

Slept on the road just to guard a fucking gate (Apache Side)

I just ended my 5 days field camp.

Hmmm.

1st day. We climb on board the tonner and travel 8km to the jungle where we pitch our basha a simplified tent. The rest of the days were spend on fire movement drill.

3rd day. "They" let go thunderflash to stimulate Artillery fire. I leopard crawl up the hill tear down my Basha and leopard crawl down the stony hill with my 20kg field pack and rifle injuring my back, elbow and knees.

Afterwards, we march to the jungle and dig our shellscrape or "kubor" just kept on digging until we had to finish some of basic fire movement drills.

At night slept with the earthworms, ants and other god-forsaken insects inside my shellscrape.

Afterwards was the giving out of letters. My parents did not write me one. But one the Sgt did. Before that we got fuck again and again. And had a emotional speech by the "Guy" and the whole platoon cried like babies. I turn my left and right never in my life I see 20 something year old guys crying like babies. You only get that in the Army.

4th day. Continue with my shellscrape. Finally done with the sand bag. Slept in it with the constant fear of a night attack that did not come.

Went to the shooting range on Thursday. Worst, awesome and memorable experience I ever had.

The range was located in the middle of the tekong jungle. So its fucking hot when I say its hot. Its really really hot.

They even call in Code Black as the temperature has soared up to 34 Degrees with >75% humidity.

So there I was prone on the floor with my rifle shooting live bullets under the god-damn sun. Trying my best to balance my rifle on 1 side while adjusting my helmet on the other and a water bag on my back. Shooting at all the targets. That was in the day bro.

Night time. They switch off all the lights to stimulate real life situation battle. There was 11 of us in a group. Guided only by the moon-light we maneuver our way through the chamber range and prone on the field with all the bloody insects flying around my face.

After all that crap. I earn my Marksmen

We end everything at 1am in the morning. Climb up the tonner and went back to Coy Line.

We had rifle training yesterday of course using dummy bullets.

So this ass-hole call Yoa Feng my platoon very own personal idiot. He took his bloody sweet time figuring out how to check clear his rifle. And whenever he do that. He point his rifle at his platoon mates.

Yoa Feng aka Potato aka MINDS Student aka Retard. Firstly, I cant believe he graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Dip in EEE. And I cant believe the fact that Army wants him to serve.
He cant march properly. Apparently the wire that connects from the brain to the muscle in his body is being cut by GOD himself. Marching is like walking in steps. Its easy. Start with your left and then your right. And swing your arms. Easy right?

This fucker cant even get that right. When the whole platoon march in steps he will be the odd one out not marching in steps.

There is once when he march he kept looking at his legs and to his left and right just to make sure that its going left,left,left....right. But his hand is moving at the wrong direction

Before we wake up for Hell-BX. What I do is to top-up my water bottle so that I don't have to Queue the next day. This fucker. He wake up at 0530, take his own sweet time and fall in late. So the whole platoon has to wait for him before counting strength.

Good thing about him is. Every time he make mistake. The Commanders will forgive him.

An idiot loss a part of the rifle during rifle assembly. So my whole platoon began to search for that piece.

Even when to that extent of throwing away all the water inside my green bottle and water pouch as they believe that there will be ass-hole among us who wants to steal it and sell it. WTF

Not only that, we began to uncover all the drains cover just to find that fucking piece. Combine effort from Platoon 3. Section Commanders of Jaguar and Kestrel. In the end they found it on the person boots. I was this <> close to crack his face.

I have to report to Singapore Discover Center as part of my "Army Programme to Brain-Wash Us"

Singapore Army will bring new recruits to the Army Museum to teach us and enforce the importance why "we are doing this".

But, in Israel. They bring new recruits to the holocaust museum to remind the recruits why they have to serve

I am having terrible cough. My phlegm is green and my mucus is green. Just like my fucking smart four.

My cough is so bad that there is once when i spit out my phlegm there is blood in it. Told my sergeant about it. He told me its common in Tekong. You develop a cough and you cough till your throat muscle tear. And when it tears there will be blood. Same concept as defloration of a hymen.

And after that. He ask me to get the fuck out of there and continue with my circuit training.

Circuit training consist of 10 stations which target certain muscle in your body.

1) Shuttle Sprint
2) Triceps Extension (With Medicine Ball)
3) Dips
4) Jumping Jacks
5) Forward Lunge
6) Push-Ups
7) Squats
etc etc

Did that 2 rounds with my sickness. In the afternoon i had Speed training. Had to Sprint for 30Secs. When i say sprint means. There's pontianak behind you and you run for your life kind of sprint. and Jog for 60 Secs. That is 1 rep. Do it for 4 reps. Afterwards... Swimming Lessons

The next day. Fuck shit.. I have my IPPT. Fuck up part. Took place at 2pm. Hot,hot as hell. Imagine what you're experiencing in SG. Times 2. That's what you get at Tekong.

Grab my balls. Did my best in most of the stations. I failed my pull-ups and SBJ. My 2.4km timing was 11.34. Which fucking piss me off as, the last time i ran 2.4 my timing was 11.04. I am slow my 30 secs. Fuck shit!!

I ran 2.4 with my green mucus streaming down from my nose dripping to my chest. At times i have to wipe my mucus with my hand and just wipe it clean it on my singlet.

Disgusting?

Well in the army. There is no such thing as hygiene.

In the army. They will say. Mind is greater than body. They really put it to the test. You body feels like breaking up. But they still fuck you up and ask you to pump more.

Got fucked like crazy yesterday. Adrenaline still pumping that I slept 4 hours.

Apparently, some of us still don't get it that this is the fucking army.

They "fake" a fucking fire drill and we ran downstairs. I am only in my flip-flops.

Did push-ups for coming down late.

Honestly, it was fun yesterday. Despite getting pumped, fucked and that was the time our section somehow unite.

I have 2 buddies since I am the 13th guy. And. I lost 1 of my buddy while running up and down the stairs. Apparently he fall-out due to high fever (which is common in Tekong)

I got fucked due to that. He did not tell me he fall out. So me and the other guy ran up and down twice just to find him standing at 1 corner with all the other sick soldiers.

I came to Tekong on 070611. 5 days later i had my IPPT. My 2.4 timing was 12 Mins. Till today I wonder how the fuck I pull that off. Just last Wednesday. I had an IPPT 2.4km trial run. And my timing was 11.04. Must shave at least 10secs. The good part is my section has he highest number of passes for 2.4. Which is good.

"If you don't want to be here. FUCK OFF!!. THIS IS THE FUCKING ARMY!!!" that was the 1st thing they say to me when I enlisted. If given the opportunity I will FUCK OFF. I don't want to be send to DB. I stayed.

Till today i cant believed the fact im in the army. While i hang my smart four outside to dry.

Even at home i hand-wash my army crap. Which shocked my mum as she asked me to rest so she can wash my army stuffs.

Told her NO.

17 days in the army if my character is like a fucking pig means there is something wrong with the military system.

Know what.....

For those who have not served the Army. Here are some of the survival tips. Honest to god. Its useful.

1) Loose weight
2) Run long distance to increase stamina
3) Learn how to fold clothes (I can do most of the housework but my weak point is folding and ironing of clothes. The army will teach you how to do that.)
4) Bring hangars. Lots of it.
5) Bring cloth pegs
6) Snake Powder
7) Fabreeze (You pillowcase and bed-sheet will literally smell like shit)
8) For the chinese. Bring 2 rolls of your own toilet paper. You'll be given another 2 rolls in the army. Its not enough to last through out your confinement week.
9) BRING THROAT LOZENGES!!!!
10) Woods cough syrup. (Seriously the Tekong Cough is not a myth.)
11) You penis wont erect. Don't worry. Its common.
12) Try to memorize as many dirty, horny and kinky sex jokes as you can.
13) Training is tough. Toughen up yourself. Physically, Mentally and Spiritually
14) Don't be a complain king. Shut the fuck up and swallow the pain. You're a soldier now.

15) The most important. At night when you sleep. Close your eyes. Regardless of what fuck noise you hear or whatever. Just close your fucking eyes. Never open them. If you wanna go to the toilet. Look down when you walk. Don't look left or right. When you pee. Just pee. Don't look behind, left or right. Wash your hands, your penis and get the fuck out. Don't look anywhere but the floor. When you reach your bed. Close your eyes straight and go to sleep. If you can't sleep. Think about any of the places or thought that makes you happy and always CLOSE YOUR FUCKING EYES!

16) For the Chinese. On your 1st day of enlistment in Tekong. Your Sergeant will ask you what ration would you like to eat. If you "kena" BMTC 2 or Basic Military Center 2 ask for Muslim Food ration. Apparently, the muslim cook house chef make better food than the non-muslim cook house. My Chinese bunk-mate kept complaining about how suck the food is.

17) Bring rags for cleaning. Bring as many as you can. There will be stand-by bed or stand-by area checks.

Better get used to the hot sun. If you're chinese don't worry if you like a malay. Its common there.

Tekong is a tough place. Brings out the man, beast and whatever in you. Always be friendly and hardworking and offer help if someone needs it. Don't be selfish. Tekong is a place where you depend one another for help.

No matter how hardcore you are. Army will break you. The 1st night i almost cried when i hear my dad's voice. His voice is the only humanly thing that I hear after a whole day of getting 'fucked'.

I have a female friend in SP.She once complained why her malay friends kept dragging her to McDonalds everytime they went to town.
